Jamaat-e-Islami Nayebe Ameer Syed Abdullah Mohammad Taher has said that a referendum can be held every day with the amount of extortion that is done in the country in a day.
He said these things at Paltan intersection in the capital today, Thursday, before going to submit a memorandum on behalf of eight parties to Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus with five-point demands.
Abdullah Mohammad Taher also said, “A referendum must be held. There will be time for a referendum even after the election schedule is announced. A referendum can be held every day with the amount of extortion that is done in a day.”
He also said, “We have come to the streets. If necessary, we will give blood again. We will not let the July achievement certificate fail.”
Commenting that the government has started to cheat, he said, “Even if you cheat, we will fulfill our demands, we will be forced to fulfill our demands.”
The Nayebe Ameer commented that delaying the time will put the government in danger.
He further said, “The government has to play its role. Political parties should not be asked to negotiate. I will tell the big parties, you should form a committee for negotiation. Quickly come for negotiation on behalf of BNP.”
